C.J.S. Public School focuses on providing the child best-of-the-breed education with academic excellence. The school designs the curriculum prescribed by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi which concerns with the emotional comfort of the students. The school endeavours to see its students score high in National Competitive Exams, emphasis is laid not on cramming of facts but on understanding and comprehending the knowledge acquired for its application in real life situations in an effective manner. Teaching-Learning Process in Hi-Tech classrooms enables the students to understand the matter in an interesting and enjoyable way. Computer Education forms an important part of the curriculum with compulsory training from Class Nursery only.The very aim of conducting Morning Assembly is to start the day with prayers to the Almighty & to inculcate discipline & confidence amongst the students. The school Morning Assembly is held for the entire school. Students conduct the assembly class – wise wherein each class gets its turn to present itself in rotation.
Morning assembly is conducted as per the Assembly planner depicting the type & order of events. Assembly starts with a prayer to the Almighty followed by news, thought, pledge, talk & National Anthem. Academics is the backbone of every institution. Taking this motto in mind, C.J.S. Public School provides ample opportunities & challenging environment for the academic growth of the students.
Concept of Learning
The school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. The school conducts classes from Pre- nursery to XII standard & follows broad & balanced curriculum under the C.B.S.E pattern to match the educational needs of the students

The Students’ Council
In order to inculcate confidence, team spirit, leadership qualities & a feeling of social responsibility, the school develops Students Council every year comprising of Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains, Sports captains, Prefects & Floor incharges. Each House is on duty for a week. The Prefectorial Members of the House on Duty assist their House teachers in performing all the duties assigned to them.
Sports
Keeping in mind that healthy mind resides in a healthy body, the school lays emphasis on the physical fitness & training of the students. Besides regular games period, students are coached in different games by professionals. The school offers extensive sports programme for Basketball, Cricket ,Karate ,Chess & Yoga. Our students participate in the Inter- House & Inter- School competitions. Students also participate in the marathon rallies.
House System
The House system comprises of four Houses namely Krishna, Kaveri, Godavri & Meghna. Students from class I to XII are divided equally into four houses. Various Inter- House cultural & sports competitions are held to inculcate the spirit of competition & competitive spirit.
Tours & Excursions
The school organises educational tours& excursions to places of educational & historical importance. Tours provide ample opportunities to the students to enrich their horizons & widen their experiences.
Inter- School Competitions
In order to give exposure to the students & to enhance their confidence, students are given ample opportunities to participate in inter- School competitions. The school also hosts various Sahodaya Schools competitions every year. Our students have brought many laurels to the school at Distt. & State level.
Celebrations
The school celebrates all major national & religious festivals as well as important days like Mothers’ Day, Grand Parents’ Day, Children’s day, Teacher’s Day etc. The whole campus is decorated according to the occasion. Farewell parties are organised every year for outgoing class with warm greetings & best wishes for their future ventures.
Assessment
Regular assessment of students’ work is done throughout the year. Remedial and Extra classes are held for the weak and topper students. Summer & Winter study camps are held for the students of Senior Secondary Classes.
System of Examination
- Nursery- ClassII
(Apart from regular class tests, three P.T.s and Annual Examination is held) - Classes III –IX and XI
To make the students excel academically, two P.T.s & two Terms are held. - Classes X-XII
To make the students excel in Board classes , two P.T.s , one TermExamination and Pre-board Examinations are conducted.
